Promptly Biblical #011

Write a poem about

“Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.” — Job 41:19

Poems do not have to match the prompt exactly. Prompts are only meant to inspire and be a jumping off point for your own creativity.

Poems can be posted in the comments directly or linked to your own journal.

In His Voice

Tongues of flame roar in his voice,
Igniting all the hearts that hear:
We stand together and rejoice.
Tongues of flame roar in his voice;
Every one has made the choice
To stand together, to be here.
Tongues of flame roar in his voice,
Igniting all the hearts that hear.

Thank you. I think it's quickly becoming my favourite form. (though I do have a soft spot in my heart for the various types of sonnet)
