Sometimes, characters break that fourth wall and just talk to me. Remy just did. And I'm not entirely certain I want to know his answer.

He asked it in that laidback, wickedly curving smile kind of way that could be any incarnation of him at all, Remy LeBeau the prince of thieves, the mysterious and frightening Witness, the sadistic and dangerous Death. It's enough to freak a poor girl out. And I'm trying to not let that go any forward. Too many stories. Don't need to have this conversation now. Didn't you see my over 500 chapters left to write?

:groans: :covers ears with hands: I need to not listen to this snake charmer. I need to write myself something I've already got going and make some real progress, for crying out loud! I need to ignore him smirking at me like he knows I'm only going to hold out so long.
