This is really pretty, love. Languid and emotive without being over-the-top. It drew me in and I really felt for Wesley, even in such a short piece. ♥

Very nice. I felt so bad for him in there, wanted him to be able to remember and know her because they seemed to have something special there, even without his memory.

Borrowing the books to have a reason to go back. So sweet, even with all the loss and sadness around it with the missing memories. :)

I'm reminded, in part, of the stories of people with Alzheimer's who cling to certain parts of their past that have special significance, and Wesley holds onto the books and Lena in the same kind of way.

Now I feel like I should give you more prompts to get more stories like this. :)

That is an interesting idea, and certainly one more unique than anything I've come up with for a while. Wesley and Lena are compelling, and it would be nice to see more of them. (Hint, hint. ;) )

You're welcome. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the others.

It's the Fifty First Dates of short fic! I like how evocative this is. I keep sensing other things, but it stands alone as its own work too. I've always said that the best snippets made me want to know more about the characters, and that definitely holds true here. Thanks for sharing.
