Can I just say that I am super-excited about the upcoming Captain America: Winter Soldier?

I've been interested in this triangle of characters meeting for a while: Black Widow, Winter Soldier, Captain America. I am so hoping they do it justice.

I'm looking forward to it very much, too. I've been quite fascinated with the Marvel movieverse recently. It's been Thor and Loki for me mostly so far, but the other characters are just as compelling. And I've heard good things about the Winter Soldier story line. It would be nice to see Natasha getting something more relevant to do. Not that I'm complaining about her appearances, but it's not like she's ever been in the center of attention at all. Plus, I'll be intrigued to see the theme of culture shock / being out of your own time but getting confronted with your past. The Avengers movie has laid some interesting groundwork for that.

I've always been a sucker for messed-up angsty storylines and the trailer! I mean best friends going against each other when Steve's already not so sure about this way of working. Very exciting.

I've been reading up on Thor and Loki (great thread on fanficrants of all places) because they've become more and more interesting to me. I'd love more really good, meaty brotherfic. I'm a sucker for familyfic too.

Definitely gonna be fun to see Steve confronted with a morally challenging situation. I think it's going to suit him. He's a bit morally uptight but not preachy or dumb.

Have you read No such liberty by Xparrot yet? It's the best Loki & Thor fic that I've seen so far. I liked it a lot because Loki gets to be cunning, and Thor gets to be smart. And yeah, do I know about becoming more interesting - I started out with fic about Hawkeye but eventually, flawed gods fascinated me more. ;)
