Where did all the reviewers go?

Okay, I shouldn't, really shouldn't, go off on a rant about this, but I better at least explain my decision to not update Without a Trace again until at least two more reviews show up on this chapter.

As a general rule, there are good days and bad days for reviews on fanfiction.net. The end of the week, Thursday, Friday, are especially bad days. However, that's because they're bad for reads. Now, 200 reads on the latest chapter of Without a Trace and I have...(drum roll please)...two reviews.

Pardon me for being underwhelmed.

On my worst chapter for this fic, I got four. But no. Two.

I am quietly freaking out here, and have no intention of moving on from this spot until I feel slightly reassured. I promise to keep writing and posting, but expect a small hiatus from Without a Trace. We authors are sensitive types and I just went over the edge.

--EDITED IN LATER--

At the time (train gone, I must admit), this was because two reviews on this fic indicated the chapter probably sucked. (Have I mentioned I hate sucky writing, especially my own?) Which it did. I had to work it around, add detail, flesh it out, and repost, then viola! Much happier readers. Imagine that. But without the reviews, it's impossible to know WHAT sucked about it.

no worries

I promise promise promise PROMISE people are still reading your fics. There is no way they aren't! You're actually one of the preferred ROMY writers on that site. SO don't worry.:) Just remind people to review :) I know I forget ALL the time

. . . speaking for myself darlin - I'm still reading. I'm still in awe of your work.

I am not reviewing for the same reasons I'm not writing right now - school is kicking me in the head. Work has eaten up what little free time I had. School and work mean I have no brain power left to string together words, let alone whole sentences.

But. . . I am still reading. I am still eagerly awaiting whatever next comes out of your brilliant head.
