So, ficspam is getting a facelift. Slowly. Anybody with time on their hands today and a basic knowledge of LJ and CSS, I would give you almost anything you ask in exchange for some help. Right now, everything's trashed.

But either way, we'll eventually figure it out. :headdesk:

Not sure what help you need, but I know a teeny bit about lj and even less about CSS...

I know enough to customize my journal a bit, I guess.

How do I get it to page forward and backward on the css? I've got tags and what have you, but only three entries a page. I'm surprised at the lack of navigation options showing on the theme.

Okay, I'm not entirely sure how this will work with your layout, but...

starting with customize theme, there should be options for display and presentation. Basic options allow how many entries can be shown on a page, default is supposed to be ten, which I generally keep on my personal journal, but I have it set for twenty on my friends page. I see more that way.

There's also a place to select if it displays the edit, next entry/previous entry, icons on the friends page and on the entry view, which I think may be default set to off, but I have mine turned on, I know.

The links for next and previous can have custom text, and I switch that on all my journals, like mine says "next pygmy" and "past pygmy," but I'm not sure if there's something specific for turning those links on.

Anyway, that might not help at all, but it's what I know. :P

Well...

The problem with this sucker is there IS no link for next and previous. I've got the options to edit them if the CSS bothers to put them in, but they aren't in. And I don't have access to the CSS of any template that does have them. :headdesk:

Hmm. I know someone who makes layouts, not sure if she has that CSS, but maybe she does, so maybe she can help.

I play with my CSS enough to put on header pictures.

And change colors.

I wanted to change fonts, but it wouldn't let me. :P
