Seven Days, PG-13 - Upset at the fact that his henchmen have fallen in love, Shaw sends Azazel and Riptide to a remote cabin for seven days in the hopes that they will get sick of each other.

Genius, Shaw. I can tell you've never been a serious relationship. You honestly think that paying for a devoted couple's vacation is going to make them go splitsville? :snickers:


Set Them Free - Rogue decides to face the reality of her relationship with Gambit. She can't touch him. Isn't it time to let him go so he can find someone else?

May I point out to you, Rogue m'dear, that Gambit is the one that came to you? Not the other way around? :headdesk: She really is that dense!


My Year of the Tiger - This one is fairly short but it does have multiple chapters so I'll group it with the longer ones. The X-men have had a very difficult year and Jubilee blogs about it. Shades of Romy, RoLo, Jott, and a pairing I haven't written before.

I must admit to find myself wondering, what year with the X-Men is not a difficult year? But I like Jubilee.


The Probe, R - There is trouble between Azazel and Riptide. Emma forces Azazel to submit to a memory probe so she can determine what's going on and how to get the Hellfire Club functioning again

Pride - Jean Paul and Bobby, along with several other X-men, go to Pride Day.

I know full well what this means, but seriously, there ought to be a mutant pride day too!


I feel the urgent need to mention here that a title like "Crime and Punishment" in relation to Azazel/Raven/Riptide should have a summary. Repeat for other titled, unsummaried one-shots.


Act Nine: The Kingdom, R – The sequel to “Riptide in Eight Acts” (below), since I wanted to write what life would be like now that Shaw is dead and Magneto is the leader. I also wanted to write my take on how Nightcrawler came into existence.

I must admit, my first reaction here was what's Nightcrawler doing in an Azazel/Riptide fic?! But onto the overall reaction: Note to self: Being a bad guy has no room for advancement. :shakes head sadly:

I think the title was a treatise (and an absolutely perfect one). I think the poor summary never had a chance compared to that!

Is it smug and nerdy to admit I really like my summaries? I almost always write them after getting beta so they're the one thing that is pretty much all me. Anyway, glad you got some enjoyment out of them and checked out some of the stories!
