I'm so glad you liked it. I was more than a little flabberghasted when you dropped me right in between Ember's prologue and first chapter, realizing I'd have to evoke a world I'd intended on elaborating over twenty-some chapters. Long ones.
This is as close to happily ever after as they get in this timeline. I'm just glad you didn't say 10 years. That would have hurt way, way too much.
