I will so (not) helpfully point out that there are technically Pieter pieces you sort of owe me. I was supposed to reserve judgment for until I read the one, plus there was the one where he met Ashen and I don't know if the stuff we talked about for his pet is a separate prompt or not, but there are a few things there.
Incidentally, I remembered that I had (and probably failed) to do a story with a character who had lost her whole family in a revolution and was in some ways a refugee (the narrator in that ficlet Lords, Ladies, and Books) but I'm not sure that's of any help, but maybe I'll find a way of fixing my own stuff after seeing Pieter. I don't know.
