2010 Recap
Jan. 14th, 2011 11:12 amLife in the fast lane, so to speak:
• Came this close to finishing revision of In This Wood (original fiction novel). Did finish it within the first week of the new year. [Note: first draft written in 2002]
• Went to the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. Pure awesomeness.
• Earned over 40,000 dollars gross salary. (most ever and not bad) (and then, of course, I went...
• Gave 2 weeks notice.) Am now self-employed and seeking unemployment to tide me over a wee. :headdesk:
• Reevaluated self, writing, relationships, and life. Started cleaning house a bit.
• Resolved to work more on original fiction than fanfiction. (My poor fanfiction readers can attest to my success.)
• Read books that I loved: The Damascus Way, Emma (took me that long to finish it—I do hate how long it takes to read an ebook. I like to write on the computer, not READ. [note: if you want to buy me a paperback/hardcover copy of the book, I'll take it.]), and discovered the wonder of Strong's concordance (for anyone unaware, I'm a hopeless, shameless language geek).
• Got my writing life back together (http://iveda.weebly.com).
Yay!
