I think those phrasings are fine.

My brain saw the adoption one as different from chosen family, at least... The case I was thinking of when I suggested it was that Effie's, and she adopts Garan's aunt and uncle as her own surrogate parents whereas he remains estranged from them and refuses to get close or bridge the emotional gap there even after they try and take steps toward it. Which to me wasn't chosen family in the same sense, but... I suppose it fits... It just wasn't my definition of it.

*sigh* I hat to ask, but since my internet and power cord issues have me rather stymied when it comes to trying to make my own cards...

I think I need a set of three, one with canon, one with... well, I guess the song titles and book titles for now. I've banged my head against interactions and relationship prompts and gotten nowhere so far. :(

5 by 5 with no free space so I have more options.
