Fires, Weird Updates, Etc.

You  might have noticed I’m a Colorado gal; you might not have. If you’re a praying body, please pray for me and my family. We’re all in cities under extreme fire danger right now, and my sister wasn’t even sure if she could safely go to work this morning.

Additionally, if you’ve seen weird updates appearing, I have a lot of linked accounts and couldn’t figure out how to unlink them while I was overhauling my website, so I haven’t caught everything to delete it.

Won’t be making any new updates for a few days. Blessings, everybody. Hope you’re well.

a-ha! I was alrady thinkign what with the blog posts from january and all. now that I do get to the links I bookmrked to download those short stories of yours, something went askew and nothing came out. i'll be the one who saves everyone's prose going 'yay!' adn then can't find it again in the enormous see of saved files, *laughtrack*

I am from a country that suffers a lot from fires every summer so I can understand your fears and worries and I know the danger - I hope the damage will be minimum and everybody in Colorado will stay safe.

My sisters are closer to the fires than I am, but we got some of the smoke the other day, clouds so thick it was hard to breathe.

I hope they get some of these fires under control soon. I might even be close enough to help if you need anything.

In retrospect, what I said made it seem like we're closer to it than we are. My sisters are south of the Hide Park one, and we got the smoke from it 30 miles east but we're really not that close at all.

Looks like things are a lot worse today, at least in the south of the state because of the weather. You still okay?

For now, yes. We've had some weird stuff and lots and lots and lots of smoke, but the fire hasn't hit our side of town. It's just real scary when you can't even really see the mountains that dominate the skyline.

Yeah. I saw some of the footage on the news. It is scary. I'm kind of fortunate that we're on the plains.
