More on this later, but besides the incredibly slow overhaul of the website, I am trying to accomplish the Heinlein challenge to write and submit one short story a week.

Problem? All current WIP shorts resist me, precisely because I’m feeling pressured. :growls unmentionables at recalcitrant muses: So…

It’s ficlet o’clock. Name me any sort of prompt, question, or idea your heart desires. If you name a pairing and/or fandom, I may just coopt for a second piece in original fiction land, as I only have until Friday to get this piece shipped.

Either...

1) Avengers. Team bonding. Bonus points for any exasperation on Tony's part.
2) Divergent. She drops to the ground, her face still blood-smeared from the fight, her back soaking wet, her body quivering. -Page 104, "Divergent". So, what really drew Christina to Dauntless?
3) X-Men. Team dynamics. Points for playing with the usual suspects, but Scott, Jean, Emma might be interesting.
4) X-Men 919, if you'd like. ~~Because I'm stuck with these guys right now...~~ Scarlett and Riley duke it out.

And now that I've been selfish and requested craploads, I'm going to go now. Mainly because your little ficlet is finally starting to coalesce. Took me a while, but I found it. :)
