Dec. 2nd, 2012 12:20 pmSnagged from likeadeuce:
Pick a character* I’ve written and I will give and explain the top five** ideas/concepts/etc I keep in mind while writing that character that I believe are essential to accurately depicting them.
* Try to make it someone I’ve written either often or recently in order for me to answer. Original or fandom permitted. Multiple requests permitted.
** May not actually be five.

She's very sensitive to right and wrong and to normal and abnormal and what she wants vs. what she has. She tends to be easily hurt and cover it up with hardness, anger, or some other method of dealing. Vulnerability must be in balance in relation to coping mechanisms, whatever that balance is for the world I'm writing.
2. Sass
Usually the sass is inversely proportional to her vulnerability level, but it's always present, even when it's subtle: "I don't know. What kind of a name is Wolverine."
3. Stubborn
Good lord, is she stubborn and opinionated and totally stubborn. Admitting she's wrong ain't high on the priority list if you know what I mean.
And other than that, it kind of varies per universe and story arc. There's a lot of elasticity in a girl with so many different backstories and the epitome of a personality disorder.
