Lightsculpt, like Cate, was voluntary. The whole team was because their leader had decided to stay and they followed suit.
Sketch escaped because her leader orchestrated their escape and the team managed to pull it off. It was their escape that actually allowed Cate's team to escape and made their staying upgrade the team status to voluntary.
I'm holding off on the Storm + Red prompt because it definitely ain't fluffy.
