So started off by reading the collaborative additions, then wrote 609 words of what comes next. Then 184 off of a conversation snippet. Very busy day so having a hard time squeezing stuff in. And another 668 words. It's problematic, this writing out of order business.

Can't decide on a Nano project and it starts in 2 days. :headdesk:

After hours, I got another 289 on the collaboration and 69 words of rough-drafted poem.

I had a totally childish and very unhelpful thought of telling you to write about kittens for Nano.

I apologize.

Last week, I didn't have anything for Nano, either, but then I found... something. So far I have only backstory rattling in my brain with one "modern" conversation, but it's been wanting to be on the page for a while, so I'm thinking midnight launch there. Maybe. Depends on how tired I am after work tomorrow.

I wish I could help make it easier for you to find something, but it has to inspire you if it's going to work.

Ah, I know: Butterfly Division.

My problem is too many ideas. :plunks chin on hands glumly: And I'd like to write something under the other pen name (which I haven't written in for almost a year), which means something my family actually knows about, which means hard work wracking brain cells in a storyworld I've spent too long out of. Yeah.

I was toying around with trying for a sequel to something, but that didn't get me anywhere, so when I found this idea, I latched onto it, even if I know already that I don't want to spend much time in the backstory.

That would be difficult, getting back into that other world after a year of not being there, but... it can happen. Of course, with Nano being thirty days... Not as many for percolation as you might need.
