So not feeling so hot and I decided to watch Agents of SHIELD earlier rather than later because later it won't be happening. (We won't discuss why I could manage earlier other than that I have been known to get up at 3. I'm crazy. Yes. I know.)

enigma731 during last week's episode, I said I was worried about two SHIELD's and my babies going to war. This week, I can articulate that worry a whole lot better.
Honestly, I think absolute power is getting to Coulson and while I don't think he's compromised, I honestly wouldn't mind Bobbi completing her mission if I liked the guys she answers to better. I don't, which makes it all feel weird because I'm seriously rooting for Bobbi to be awesome and complete her mission, but frankly if she was aiming to be next Director I'd feel better about it.
All that aside, I can manage to root for Coulson to hold out and Bobbi to succeed while managing not to completely flip out (though it's mighty uncomfortable), but I realized that I'm truly not comfortable with and dislike emphatically the idea of watching May and Bobbi fight (well, no, but fight and mean it).
It's the ladies I don't want to see on opposite sides. As far as that goes, May would make me happy as a new Director too, just saying.
Bobbi and Hunter are making me cry. I didn't even like him, even as her love interest, for the longest time. But I really saw what she saw in him this episode, and nice touch with the super competent I haven't seen enough of since his introduction. From the beginning, their dynamic was always so "she's out of my league" and her loving him anyway, which made him feel like a rest/retreat/place of safety for her and definitely the guy she tries to wrap up and keep safely away from her dangerous world, which doesn't work because he's reckless, heedless, and does not have infinite patience when secrets and lies go swirling around him (this guy is not meant to be a spy, however well he manages it), so yeah. They're making me cry.
Also, what was with the total about-face from May? She was totally like "this is her family; she stays" when talking to her ex, then turned around and told Coulson, "I agree. We don't know how to deal with this." Fic, help me out here!!!
