1. I updated the ficlist.


2. Finished the first draft of my MCU Ladies Ficathon piece and shipped it to beta. Last chapter is riddled with typos. Oops.


3. Matched up a scene with a prompt from geckoholic's birthday meme and finished "Babysitting Requires Babies and Other Rules of SHIELD Agent Training."


4. Wrote a Trope Bingo piece, "The Road to Sweden," by randomly choosing a character from my fandom list that I don't write very often.


5. I'm making a tagset of my fandoms, characters, and pairings, so I won't always write only the ones off the top of my head.


6. Made further progress on fusion fic before realizing I don't actually write Steve and Bucky interacting that often and it shows. Trying again today.

Man you are trucking right along! I'm stalled to a halt the past few days thanks to the joy that is cedar fever in Austin and the really odd side effects I apparently get from mucinex. Who knew? But hopefully I'll be able to write at least a little this weekend.

:hugs: I have times I don't write a thing due to not feeling well and I don't feel that bad about it. (Usually.)

I lucked out in that I have so many fics on my plate, I'm anxious to get them off my plate, so I run with whatever's trucking along pretty well.

Also, I must say I love hearing "trucking" from someone outside my family. My grandmother picked it up from her mother and I've always loved it.

Yeah I didn't end up getting anything else accomplished. I basically spent the weekend sleeping and/or in a drug haze. Mucinex and I really just don't get along apparently. I'm trying not to take it today to see how my symptoms are actually doing without the meds. Here's hoping it's not too terrible. I'm thinking it might finally be time to see the doc about possible antibiotics. Joy. Blah.

If it's allergies, I recommend yerba mate tea. It's the best thing I've encountered for those.

I hear you on the people who don't interact and you need to write them more thing. My goal for 2015 is to write more people I'm not used to! :)

I hashed out a whole line across the middle that was chromatic and rare pairings (if not bechdel pass) and 5 fandoms too.

Then promptly wrote something else. :headdesk:

I find the way that works for me is to grab a character or pairing and pick a trope and just start writing to it. What comes out comes out and that's what got me started on the entire Clint/Natasha kick for that matter. "Shall We Dance?" was just me picking reunion and the two of them and seeing what happened and that sort of blew the lid off.

Apparently, one wanders over to the browse tagsets page and clicks on a button that says, New Tag Set.

I'm going to start including it whenever I open up a prompt post. I'm finding it quite useful.
