It's home and back from the shop with a brand spanking new hard drive. Which means I still have to load all my applications back on. Fun.

After my computer is set up again I intend to:

1. Finish the collab WIP Bang/Remix plan


2. Finish trovia's birthday fic


3. Start bookmarking comment_fic fills again

I hope you're doing well, btw. I don't have much time for LJ these days, and I do miss talking to you every now and then. How is the publishing / original writing going for you?

I kind of put it on hold over the holidays and haven't gotten back into it, which is why I'm really excited about hitting your fic as it's a return to that. I've been kind of wanting to open a prompt thread for getting back into original fic, but there's this one fanfic I want done first because it's giving me so much grief, I know I'd lay it aside for indefinite if I don't.

Someone wanted to read "Dowse and Bleed" but I don't know if they finished it or liked it if they did. There's that. Last year was the year of the not feeling well, so I didn't keep up on my publishing plans. I want to correct that this year if possible.

Also, I missed you! Glad to see you here now and again. Hope to talk to you a lot more.

It's so annoying when health gets in the way of writing. :-/ That keeps stumping me, too.

I hope I'll see your prompt thing once it's up. Those things are always fun.

It's a shame that our genres are so far apart, or I'd suggest some kind of beta reading exchange thing. But I imagine I wouldn't be much help with your religiously inspired writing (heh, sorry, I honestly forgot what that genre is called :)), and I write mostly lesbian fiction these days, so. But you know, if you ever want to talk writing or you just need somebody to look at a scene or whatever, write me an email. :) (eloponnas@gmail.com)

I do appreciate that. A lot of my Liana Mir stuff doesn't go too far religious. It's more like my own special powers/gifteds fiction, but I have been known to write Christian/inspirational. :grins:

But I'll definitely keep you in mind and if you like what I'm working on, I think we'll be okay with talking to each other about writing at least. I don't do a lot of beta work anymore mostly because it's so much brain juice, but I do alpha reading and reader reaction stuff. Big picture.

Editor brain and writer brain stopped playing nice a while back.

That was rambly. :hugs: I'll get more coherent sometime today.
