Thanks for the reassurance. I don't know why certain things get me more than others, but I do find it hard to root for diametrically opposed characters simultaneously.

The way Gordon described it, embraced, I kind of love Skye's mom.

I really don't think Bobbi is diametrically opposed to the rest of the team, though. I think this is an arc where we're going to see her making the decision to follow what she believes is right. Again.

I meant more in current goals than ideology. Why I didn't say enemies or betrayal really. I like Weaver so far but I still don't like Robert. This is as you said getting better than I expected, but yeah, two people I agree with equally fighting is hard on my nerves. It's getting better though. And the whole thing's handled well even when it does have me in knots.

I'd even take them as deep platonic forever partners. I do find it interesting that he treats her like his sister and she makes a point of telling him she's not.

And yes to the medallion and all the little and big things they've mentioned about Dubai and what happened and getting intel but falling in love and seriously, I want to know.

ME TOO. The thing with Lance and Bobbi doesn't even need to be a sexual, overtly OTP thing as it is with Clintasha, and I also still ship Clint and Bobbi, haha. But they definitely have a connection that I feel I can't ignore when it comes to fic.

It's kind of a shame the AoS fandom has grown so much that it won't be included in exchanges like Yuletide anymore, because these characters deserve to be written about on a more regular basis!

Ack! I meant that about the Bobbi/Mack thing, but you know, same about Lance/Bobbi now that you mention it. It's like they work and they don't work in equal portions but they're so intensely connected and I have to literally AU ignore it or address it in fic when I change ships because what I won't do is just gloss it or downplay it. They're connection is a big deal and I have reached the love them portion of my fannishness of the pairing.

I KNOW. I want to nominate them all the time and can't. :pouts: I want so much more and they showed up in season 2, so I can't just beg at every exchange I'm in. : le sigh:

I could have put them in the AU fest, but I actually want canon-compliant fic of them.

Yes Clint/Bobbi and I'll do Clintasha platonic or romantic. They just do it all for me. They have that Bobbi + Mack type closeness. Joined at the partner hip for life, regardless of what level they're interacting on. They care about each other and watch each other's backs and go out on a limb for each other, and and and...
