Can't stop obsessing over whether or not Destan will seem like a Gambit rip off. I know I kind of compared Cress to Remy before. My thought was, I think, that the empathy was a trait passed down the male side of his family line, but this must be too much like Gambit even if Destan knew his parents and was just raised by a family servant/former slave. I even had a scene come to me where he pick pocketed someone.
