Take the Lead (2006)
Date: 2015-09-18 02:59 pm (UTC)I love the students and their interactions. Ramos is probably my favorite character, and I like the meat in the LaRhette/Rock relationship. I'd love something that digs in a little deeper than the movie, which sort of ensemble skimmed. I'd love to see their real lives around dancing, see them dancing, see their relationships when the adults aren't involved, and I'd especially love postcanon fic that shows how Dulaine's program actually made a difference in where they end up.
The Whole Shebang:
Caitlin/Monster: They are so sweet and shy and lovely together and I would love to see a deeper look into their relationship and personalities and choices, especially post-canon but in between scenes is fine too.
Danjou/Ramos/Sasha: My first OT3 ever. I like the three of them together, the sparks (both kinds) that fly when they're 'working together.' I'd love futurefic or fluff fic or relationship fic or learning how to dance as a threesome or even backstory, but I'd really like to see them being in a relationship and how those dynamics balance out in a healthy way, so no one's dominating too much. You know, just living together and making it work.
Danjou/Sasha: I like them and like the way their personalities fit and don't, and I find it intriguing that when she danced with Ramos in the hallway at school, she danced with Danjou in the bedroom. It'd be interesting to see more of their perspectives on things.
Ramos/Sasha: I love the fire of these two and their break dancing and their skill and brazen in-your-faceness. I loved their dancing in the hall together and their fighting and how they worked when they weren't fighting. I'd love domestic fluff or futurefic or angry sex or dancing or anything else you want to throw in here.
LaRhette/Rock: I just like these two and getting over their prejudices and hurts and being there for each other. They're both sensitive in a way, and she takes care of her family, and I'd love to see more of them being supportive of each other or becoming more involved in each other's lives or backstory/precanon.
Morgan/Ramos: Don't ask me why I'm drawn to the idea of this pairing but I am. They're both skilled dancers and hot and arrogant in their own ways and I could see them working together with Dulaine and a rivals to lovers type situation emerging. Open to any way you'd want to write this though, whether it's established relationship, slow build, hate sex PWP, or anything else.
