Generally speaking, I use/pick my icons for the emotion or mood in them!

1. A friend made a bunch of icons like this, and I was drawn to this one. I think I relate to it, in a way - always looking far away but feeling blindfolded.

2. I love sunflowers, and this icon is my happy icon!

3. Hm, I chose this one because it's such a beautiful picture of the kind of laziness I love - lounging around with books. The idea of lying in a bookshelf just appeals to me.

4. The keywords are from a line from my favourite e.e. cummings poem. Again, I love sunflowers, and I find it incredibly romantic. I usually use it when I post about my boyfriend.

5. Ahhhh, I love Doctor Who, I love Ten/Rose, and I like the kind of hopeful, optimistic feeling of this icon.

6. Garden State is a favourite movie of mine. I wanted an icon for when I'm feeling like I need comfort, or for when I'm commenting and someone needs comfort. The keywords are a line from Let Go by Frou Frou, the song that plays at the end of the movie.

7. AFF is a singer that I adore, and I found this picture and LOVED it - so pretty! And it's a reading icon; so useful in so many situations - commenting on fic, when I post about creativity or books or studying, etc.

8. Another favourite movie, and I chose this icon because I like the emotional tone of the picture. Kind of tired, feeling like it's you against the world, but with someone.
