This is the Job grew out of a lot of my initial research into the Intelligence Community and foreign operations I did for that Brandt fic in Not for Primetime. I was reading![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
findthesea's Fandom Growth Exchange letter and fell in love with a prompt for Brandt/Carter and their dark history and thought about a much earlier comment I made that IMF agents could quite easily be considered terrorists in other countries.
And out flowed this second person (I never write in 2nd, yikes) Jane Carter fic that was sectioned by a few cities and only includes a tiny bit of Brandt at the end and didn't make 2000 words. So not for FGE then and not expected.
I posted it and called it a day.
